ホントに涙が止まらないです。 Book: "Yurichika he" (Dear Yurichika) by Akiko Terenin. Akiko Terenin was 5 months pregnant when she was diagnosed with spinal cancer. The tumor was inmediately removed but she needed chemotherapy after the surgery. The doctor said they better give up on the baby and start the treatment inmediately, because there was a high risk of metastasis. But start the chemotherapy would mean expose the baby to damage. So she decides to delay the treatment. ..."I promised your daddy to give him a healthy baby." After the baby was born she starts the treatment but soon they find a new big tumor in a different place. Her chances were minimal. So she starts writing all the things she wants to tell her daughter. Her words were very touching so i'm going to write some of them. I want to continue watching you smile for long time, but I dont know what is going to happen so im going to write the things i want to tell you." ホントに涙が止まらないです。 Book: "1 Litre of Tears" by Aya Kito. Diary written by Aya Kito (1962-1988) published shortly before her death. Aya was diagnosed with Spinocerebellar degeneration when she was 15 years old. This incurable disease causes the person to lose control over their body. She gradually lost the ability to walk, write and speak. In her long fight with this cruel disease, she kept writing her experiences in her diary until she could no longer hold a pen. Aya never gave up, and lived each day of her life to the fullest until the very end. Her diary 1 Litre of Tears encouraged many people, healthy or diseased, because of its inspiring and courageous messages.
